Queers on Jemez falls trail to hot spring

You: a group of 6ish queers and dogs walking out from Macaulay warm springs towards the Jemez falls parking lot on May 23rd. Me: a lonely guy in a black tank and uncharacteristically flashy yellow cacti swim trunks and nerdy glasses with wrap around band. One of you commented on my shorts and glasses, and I said it’s nice to see fellow queers on the trail. I was sad that I missed the opportunity to hang at the springs with y’all. I’m working a science field crew job in NM and don’t have any connections in the area and am working pretty remotely and with non rad queers. And after I passed you by I was sort of surprised to feel a little pang in my heart from seeing a crew of freaks out having fun together. I miss queers! I miss community. Y’all looked fun. I want to be yr friend.
