F/T Janitorial Position (Itasca, IL) Experienced and detail-oriented individual needed. Candidate must possess excellent communication, janitorial and basic repair skills. Must be able to troubleshoot problems efficiently and professionally. Job Duties include but are not limited to: - Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule - The periodic performance of preventative maintenance programs - Develop specifications for grounds maintenance, snow removal and cleaning - Coordinate apartment turnover logistics to ensure timely completion - Keep management informed of supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties - Be on standby in the event of emergency calls for evening, weekday and holiday coverage Requirements: - Must have at least 2 years’ experience within residential property management - After-hour availability; including nights and weekends on a rotational basis - Proven knowledge of building codes, laws and regulations - Must be available to handle on-call emergency services on as-needed basis ***ALL APPLICANTS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A BACKGROUND CHECK*** Physical Demands: The work requires routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds.
