Hello! We are a young couple looking for part-time help around the house and with errands. To give you a little background on us, we are in our early 30s. I am never quite sure what to say about us, but we are fairly easy going and I suppose we like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain as much as the next person? :) No kids. We are planning to get a Bernedoodle later this year so you should be comfortable being in a house with a dog. We live in the downtown area and you would need to have your own car (though we will reimburse you when you are using it on our behalf). I like to think we are pretty friendly and easy to work with! The main things we would ask are that you be communicative, punctual, and detail-oriented. (We understand sometimes life happens and that's totally fine, but we would expect you to show up on time 90%+ of the time as it can be disruptive for us to reschedule at the last minute.) Consistent Work would include: -Grocery shopping/ordering -Meal prep (optional, so don’t let it deter you from applying) -Tidying/Organizing -Errands (e.g. drop off packages, pick up prescriptions, get car serviced) -Laundry The ideal person will have: * reliable personal transportation and own auto insurance * professional phone and text communication skills We were thinking that the easiest thing would be to have you come for a half day or full day once per week and pick up groceries/errands on the way in, do some meal prep and tidying around the house, then take anything that needs to get dropped off. That being said, we are flexible if your schedule is better for two half days or similar. (We would like it to be regular though and not move around every week - e.g. Every Tuesday, every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, or something to that effect.) We would also love help with some more one-off tasks -Project management -Small event planning -Dog sitting In addition to that, we would ideally also be hoping for you to help out with a little event planning and project management type stuff. This would be stuff like organizing get-togethers with friends/professional contacts (e.g. Coordinate a time that works for a meetup and pick up drinks and appetizers and put them in the fridge.) Occasional Dog sitting while we are out of town would be a plus if you were up for it, but not required.
