Description

With a heavy heart...we have to re-home Kendrick. After exhausting all of my options to help with my dog allergies I have to find a new home for Kendrick. Kendrick was adopted from a rescue in Springfield, OR he was about 5 months. We were told Kendrick ½ German Shepherd and ½ Pit Bull. What’s great about him. Kendrick LOVES life and all dogs, people, and great with daughter age 6, and Son age 12. (Kendrick was never left alone with 6 year old because he still liks to puppy bite and steal her food)He is loyal and for the most part, tries hard to get along with cats. I don’t know how Kendrick would be around a baby. Best round children age 5 and up. Loves, Long walks 2-3 times daily, and if allowed to run he will run. An optimal location for Kendrick to run would be a well-fenced backyard, private beach, or field. Kendrick has been to the dog park 3 times but he had a hard time following basic commands while playing. He knows basic commands. Touch(for come) Leave it( for everything) Drop it, Sit, gentle, down, stay, wait and Place (said for lay-down). -Neutered -Up to date on shots -Completed 6 weeks of Puppy Class -Crate trained Maximum of 4 hours. (sleeps on dog bed at night with 12 Son in his room) -About 55 pounds -Only a dog now but have played with other dogs and LOVES it! -Good on a leash. off-leash only in a CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT. -Loves adventures! but does not love water. However, we went to the beach for Spring Break and did fine in the ocean and river. -Will be your ever-loving shadow, and has a little separation anxiety - sometimes -Great in the car Can’t have too many treats. Kibble works best with his digestive system. If you are seriously interested in adopting you are welcome to e-mail me. Serious inquiries only and please tell me a little about yourself and your living situation. A rehoming fee to ensure a good home for him. Thank you!
