Gardener compensation: Starting at $25 per hour employment type: part-time I am a homeowner in Ojai, CA who is looking for a hardworking, self-motivated employee who can help with gardening and landscaping for a single property. The job would include tending to trees, monitoring a water irrigation system and caring for a small to medium sized fruit and vegetable garden as well as some general landscaping needs. Responsibilities include grooming and upkeep of garden and landscape, including: - Maintaining small lawn around pool area - Leaf blowing of 3-4 areas in the yard once per week - Planting - Weeding - Occasionally applying of organic fertilizers, natural pesticides and/or herbicides. Minimum Qualifications: * Motivated * Must be able to stand for extended periods of time as well as lift up to 30 lb. without assistance * Must be able to read and write * Must be pro-active in communicating if additional tools or repairs are needed to maintain property, especially water irrigation.
