Looking for jug band players

My name is Fred. I build my own instruments, like cigar box guitars and I enjoy playing them. I am looking to meet other like-minded people who do the same and play some music together. I am already in a band, but want to form a collective of jug band enthusiests to both make and play these instruments for fun. I usually end up playing old-time blues and folk songs, but I am not set on a particular genre of music. If it sounds good, then I am happy! My other passion is teaching children music. I feel they gravitate towards jug band instruments as they are less daunting to pickup and try than a 6 string guitar, etc. If you have kids that like to play, bring them too! I really enjoy this hobby and want to meet up with others who are interested as well. I really get a kick out of seeing someone’s unique instrument and hearing them play it.
