Read entire post before contacting me. I have a 2 year old female Catahoula/Border Collie mix. Father was from Monaghan kennels, he was a red leopard from champion lines. His parents and grandparents have won awards in hog baying, coon treeing, and track/trailing. I still have his pedigree. He was very intelligent and athletic. Good tracker. Mother is border collie x Staffordshire. Very intelligent, excellent drive. Both parents have exhibited excellent athletic ability as well as intelligence and loyalty. This female I am offering is athletic, agile, and very smart. She is a good hunter, she runs deer and rabbits here. She is protective and loyal, good on leash, good obedience under voice command. However I cannot stress enough that she has a strong alpha behavior characteristic of Catahoula females. She will fight other females and I promise you will not have an easy time stopping her. She has nearly killed her mother twice. I will not send her to a home with another female dog of any breed, size, age etc.. She is good with my son, however if you have more than 2 kids, if they're rowdy etc, don't contact me. Don't put yourself, your family or this dog through that turmoil. Other people ignore my warnings with these dogs and they usually regret it. If you're not familiar with Catahoula or border collies, then for god's sake do some research before contacting me. I'm not above telling you to leave and wipe your ass with your money, please save us all the hassle. Now having said all of this, the dog has received regular vaccines of Spectra10 and pyrantel. Before she is turned over, I will have her current on rabies and trifexis as well as a health certificate if you desire. I adore this dog and I will ensure she goes to a good home. I'm tired of explaining the nature of these breeds to folks, so be prepared to demonstrate functional knowledge. I strongly prefer she goes to a regular hunter or someone who spends a lot of time outside, very active, etc.. Her adoption fee is $150 and that will include veterinary proof of rabies, heartworm/parasite screen and trifexis, small bag of kibble and rope toy(she likes tug of war but not fetching so much). Health certificate will be extra. She is a fantastic companion and guard dog.
