Trying to home Doodle puppy

I posted about my male doodle. We want 1,250 for him. He is a puppy. We have gotten responses and are talking to people about getting a puppy. We are still looking. We also get people saying 1,250 is too much for a craigslist ad...also people saying 'watch out, people will use him as a bait dog'. So, what do we do? Take him to a shelter where he can get sick? I would rather ask for half what we have put into him, talk to his new family, and know he has been loved every day we have had him. If you have been looking for a great low shed puppy, we cannot keep him and he is an amazing little guy. Please send your number. We will call you, text pictures and you can meet him. If it is a fit, you have a vet, know how to care for a dog and such, you can take him home. He is 1,250.
