Fundraising Gala in Baltimore City to raise money for India, Nepal Covid-19 Relief While the Covid-19 Pandemic is slowly improving in the United States, it is catastrophically worsening in other parts of the world, specifically India & Nepal. Currently, this region is being severely affected with an alarming number of deaths and an overwhelmed healthcare system. There is a severe shortage of oxygen, medication, and basic supplies such as masks and personal protective equipment. To assist and alleviate the impact of this global pandemic currently ravaging underserved communities, the management and staff of First Call Pharmacy, LLC & Daniel R. Howard, MD, PA assembled a Diverse Global Impact Team of Volunteers to organize a fundraiser, with ALL proceeds directly supporting local efforts to save the lives of people in affected communities. YES! You read that right! ALL monies generated from your donations, including gala tickets, will be directly funneled to the strenuously vetted to the Lutheran World Relief (LWR), a global nonprofit, that will provide a tax receipt for all Donations (100% tax deductable). LWR will rapidly direct donations to organizations they are currently working with in India & Nepal during this emergency.
