Part time cotton diaper sorter needed 10-15 hours weekly. You need to be able to be on your feet for 5-6 hours each day. You need to be able to lift up to 40 lbs at varyiug intervals. Strong legs and back are required. The position is similar to working on a factory production line. You work independently and with the owner of the business. Not a highly social day. There is a radio with Sirius XM provided. Personal cell phones are not allowed during working hours. Sorter unloads clean diapers from washer to a rolling cart and then proceeds to load the dryer and set the timer. The clean, dried diapers are emptied into a rolling cart and taken to a table to separate them by size and color trims for specific customers. They are then bagged and the bag is secured with a twist tie and labeled with the customers name on the outside of the bag. Work is repetitive and can seem monotonous. We put out a lot of laundry. The stacks need to be organized and neat. Attention to detail is very important. The preferred work schedule is during the weekdays on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The hours are from 9:00 AM-2:30 PM. There is some flexibility in the schedule. Reliable transportation is necessary.
