Sand Helper is a motorized beach wheelchair rental company and we are opening up in the Collier County area which includes beach Naples and Marco Island. We are looking for a contract driver who will be called to move a wheelchair from point A to point B using their own pickup truck or trailer. We take reservations and handle the customers, and subcontract delivery and pickup of the chairs, which are in a warehouse. Sometimes a chair will be moved from storage to hotel, other times hotel to storage, and some times hotel to another hotel. Pay: $50 for a delivery to a hotel (from anywhere), and $40 for delivery from customer back to storage. Delivery requires ensuring batteries are charged, the chair is clean, tire pressure is correct, chargers are available, etc. DRIVER MUST OWN AND DRIVE A PICKUP TRUCK OR USE A TRAILER TO MOVE THESE CHAIRS. We have ramps in storage which you may borrow to load and unload the chair into your truck bed, as long as it is returned to storage immediately after use.
