We are Ignite Outdoor Kitchens. We are a rapidly growing startup company that was Founded in 2020. We are located in South Austin near South Congress. We are seeking a Drywaller to hang hardie board. An ideal candidate will bring their own basic tools to the shop. Major tools will be provided by the company. An ideal candidate will have drywall experience and some general shop knowledge. This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm or an earlier schedule could be possible. The hourly pay is $18-$23/hour DOE. Responsibilities/Experience • Hanging hardie board on 2-3 outdoor kitchens per week • Precise cutting of hardie board • Applying drywall mud and finishing • Drilling • Heavy lifting, carrying building materials, tools, and supplies. Skills/Experience: Drywall experience is required General construction experience preferred Required to follow all safety policies and procedures of SW Drywall and OSHA Ability to perform physical tasks (i.e. climb ladders, bending, kneeling, twisting etc.) Urgent work style that understands productivity is important to work tasks High attention to detail and willingness to improve and learn new skills Set a good example by being respectful to others and by keeping a clean, neat, and organized work area throughout the day and/or at the end of the day Must be able to pass a background check Must be able to provide references from previous employers Must have your own form of transportation A perk to working with us is that our shop space is air conditioned and we offer benefits after 90 days.
