Black Girls Matter is an annual event that gives Black girls and women a safe space where we can take a moment to heal. "Sis, fix your crown!" That is the theme of Black Girls Matter! Black Girls Matter is an annual event that gives Black girls and women a safe space where they can take a moment to heal and fix their crowns. Victims of trauma often seek validation from others. Black Girls Matter is an event that will empower Black women and girls by giving them the tools they need to explore what they think of themselves and why they view themselves in a way that only relates to trauma. This should give them the tools to cope with their trauma and start the healing process. We want their healing to start where they stand. Come Stand with BGM on Saturday, May 29, 2021, from 1 pm to 7 pm. There will be a healing circle, art therapy, self-empowerment workshops, guest speakers, a gourmet meal, and gift bags packed with self-care products and information on mental health and self-care services. We encourage you to pull up. This is not an event you want to miss.
