Our special needs daughter is 20 years old with Rett Syndrome. She needs assistance in daily living needs, feeding, toileting and bathing, stretching and walking and other daily needs. We currently have live-in caregivers who will assist in training the right person specific to our daughter's needs and schedule. Given the current coronavirus pandemic, the pay is flexible depending on the individual and live-in requirements. The ideal person has deep experience in working with special needs children, specifically familiar with engaging and educating in a school environment, ideally a special needs teacher who wants part or full time employment. This position for the ideal person will be full time with additional benefits. We will only consider and respond to experienced individuals as described so please serious inquiries only. This currently available position is for an LVN to assist with our special needs daughter, 19 years old, with Rett Syndrome. She needs 1:1 assistance in daily living needs, feeding, toileting and bathing, stretching and walking. She weighs 75-80 pounds and the individual must be able to manage with transfers, assisted walking around the house and using a walker outside. The position has a flexible schedule is 6-8 hours daily, 5 days a week. We currently have live-in caregivers who will assist in training the right person specific to our daughter's needs and schedule.
