Press release from the Providence Volunteer Fire Company: 2021-05-22 At 2:37 PM, the Providence Volunteer Fire Company, Baltimore County Fire Department USAR 17, and Baltimore Environmental Police were dispatched for an animal rescue at the Loch Raven Dam. Upon arrival, Truck 297 found a golden retriever named Jackson who found his way into the tunnel system by the little dam. PVFC Firefighter/EMT Wry used a water rescue rope to lasso the canine and guide him to the shoreline where he was reunited with his family.
