The San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency reported 60 new COVID-19 cases Saturday and three more deaths from the pandemic disease.
Out of 13,458 test results reported in the last day, just 0.4% were positive, and the 14-day rolling average ticked down to 1.2%.
Vaccinations continued to increase with 1,447,610 residents — 52% of the population 12 and older — fully vaccinated.
Residents can make an appointment online for vaccination at any of dozens of sites across the county.
In an effort to encourage everyone to get vaccination, the county will launch the "Our Health is Worth a Shot" challenge on Monday. Youth 12 to 24 are encouraged to submit video and visual art projects encouraging people to get vaccinated.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 279,613 cases of coronavirus and 3,751 deaths from the disease in San Diego County.
