Press release from the City of Moorpark: May 21, 2021 The City of Moorpark is eager to announce that the Second General Plan Update Workshop will be held virtually on Thursday, May 27th at 6:30 p.m. The Workshop will be both interactive and informative. During this workshop, the community will be able to provide feedback on the types of development that could occur in the future and how uses in Moorpark could change. Participants will also participate in a virtual land use mapping exercise and ask questions of our project team. Plus, free giveaways! Your feedback will inform the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) and decisionmakers as they make recommendations for potential changes to the City's Land Use Map and help inform our overall plan. "We need to hear from as many voices as possible to help us determine the future of Moorpark.", said, Mark Di Cecco, chair of the GPAC. "This is a great opportunity for you to have a say on the quality of life in your town. Your ideas and visions will guide us for the next 30 years, please join us!"
