Press release from the Alameda Board of Supervisors: May 23, 2021 April 12, 2021 – Alameda County, CA – District 1 Supervisor of Alameda County, DavidHaubert, is pleased to have served residents of District 1 for the past 100 days. He has had thepleasure to work with many organizations, groups, agencies, and community members. He hasfocused on COVID-19 Recovery, Environmental Concerns, Mental Health, Budget,Transportation, and Homelessness. One of the most significant successes that Supervisor Haubert has had in office wasgetting a FEMA Mobile Vaccination Unit in Livermore. "I am proud to share that my most significant success in my 100 days is working with essential leaders in this community to get a FEMA Mobile Vaccination Unit in Livermore for the most vulnerable population. This mobile vaccination unit was on April 15 , 16, and 17. Hosted by Livermore Valley School District, LARPD, and the City of Livermore," Supervisor Haubert explains. Here are a few of Supervisor Haubert's achievements:- Sitting on 16 important committees and agencies.- Vaccinated over 175,000 people, including homeless, low-income families, andunderinsured people.- While joining forces with a local non-profit, One Nation Dream Makers, led byRonnie Forbes, feeding people in need, primarily homebound seniors.- Supported Paddy Lyer, Daily Bowl, Open Heart Kitchen, and Spectrum Meals onWheels.- Worked with EAH Housing and Shawn Costello from Dublin Health and HumanServices Commission by increasing their living spaces access.- Commissioned a 2.2-billion-dollar rail extension called Valley Link.- Joined Sierra Club, Livermore Chamber of Commerce, Tri-Valley Conservancy, andhundreds of residents supporting Aramis Farms Solar Project.- Held the first Alameda County celebration of National Day of Prayer.- Partnered with various state and local agencies to place a bid to purchase the N3cattle ranch which is 16,000 Acres located in the southeast Alameda County. - Supported the preservation of Tesla Park.- Helped bring Alameda County $20 million settlement from Golden State Warriors- Continued work of Supervisor Haggerty and supplied funding to create GoodnessVillage.
