I have a beautiful Military Macaw that I simply just don’t have the proper time to give her the interaction she deserves. She is approximately 5years old. She can be loud but as soon as you give her some attention or let her out of her cage she gets quiet. She does let me pet her and hold her on most days but she does have a temper on other days but not mean by any means. She just needs more interaction with people. When I first got her it took about a week for her to warm up to me, she does NOT like flip flops/sandals (assuming the previous owners used to throw them at her and left her locked away) she does say hello especially when she hears ringing and she will laugh when she hears you laughing.
