Toccoa GA

Description

So, I'm a native Atlantan. Born and raised. I find myself here in the foothills of the Appalachians. I play upright and electric bass and would love to meet a fiddle, mandolin, and guitar player to do some weird "Fire on the Mountain" type shit with. We could start out just jamming. I'm bored out of my skull and have some free time. Wouldn't mind playing out some, putting together a demo and hitting the festival circuit and whatnot. Ricky Skaggs is a big influence. Vince Gill. The Eagles. Oak Ridge Boys. Alabama. Really, I'd like to meet 3-5 men and women willing to embrace the "high lonesome" and do something not everyone can; produce listenable, even aesthetically pleasing bluegrass/rootgrass/stomp music. I'm a husband and father so this would be part time, at least at the beginning. Hit me up. Let's see what happens. Guitar, Fiddle, Mandolin, maybe Harmonica and Organ or Banjo. Whatever it is you play that sets you apart. Weekend warriors and hobbyists encouraged to apply. Looking forward to hearing from you.
