My name is Dan von Trapp, and I was the drummer for The Boomers, a classic rock band that was popular in the Salem area for the past 13+ years. We were the first band to play at the Half Penny when they opened 11 years ago, and continued to play there monthly until the music shutdown due to Covid-19. The band has since retired except for myself, and I'm looking for members to complete another band or join an existing band if you need a drummer. What I need are a bass player, lead and rhythm guitarists, a bonus if you are also proficient on the keyboards, or each player separately. Vocal ability is a huge plus. You must have your own equipment and able to commit to rehearsing weekly as well able to commit to monthly gigs and various events...mostly on Fridays and/or Saturday nights from 9-1 a.m. This, of course depends on the various establishments that are ready to resume gigs after Covid.
