Hey!!! I'm looking to start a band that mixes rock funk and electro together. For this situation, a drummer who plays Vdrums would be Ideal. Must have pro gear and attitude. The vision is focusing on creating music as a group, recording, gigging, and having fun!!! Think Daft Punk meets 70s band Chic. Very funky, disco electro inspired stuff along with some funky experiental fusion improvisation. Looking for individuals who write lyrically and are open to collaborating with this process. It lends to a better creative union. Not really interested in working with attached guys ( oh —gotta check with wifey or gF to see if I can make this week’s practice, gotta cancel me and my wife have plans,so on and so forth ( shows lack of dedication) or those working in multiple projects, no room for that sort of drama. Also, ideally More preference will be given to musicians who are lyricists and willing to have regular late evening songwriting sessions. I work days and off evenings and weekends.
