If your statement that 50% of the crimes and murders are committed by just 1% of the population, how could you possibly justify treating the other 99% of the population as if they are the ones committing the crimes? The police have been shooting unarmed citizens and planting throw down weapons for decades. There's a news story every couple of days regarding police killing someone who was unarmed and posed no threat. North Carolina police lied and said Andrew Brown struck two officers while trying to get away. Body cam footage proves they were lying when they shot and killed him. Louisiana police dragged Ronald Greene from his SUV and beat him to death. He was unarmed. The police lied and said he died from crashing his SUV while trying to escape but there was no crash and no air bags even deployed. They beat him to death. Maybe it's only 1% of the police that are repeatedly killing unarmed citizens, many who are not resisting and have not committed any crime. THEN THE 99% OF THE POLICE THAT AREN'T DOING IT NEED TO COME CLEAN AND ARREST THE ONES WHO ARE DOING IT SO EVERYONE WILL BE SAFE.
