Description
I took in several fish a while back from someone who just wanted to flush them, but now they're all getting big and some getting picked on in my tank. Free to good home (large established tanks) Female Texas cichlid, she's beautiful and I don't want to get rid of her but she gets bullied and I feel it's too stressful for her long term. Would make a great center piece fish with silver dollars and plecos or something like that.
The other fish is some hybrid African cichlid who is a bully. Not sure of gender, kind of looks like a silvery/blue peacock, but not sure. Probably about 5 inches and holds its own in a monster fish tank no problem. Would more than likely do best in an overstocked African tank.
I can provide videos/pictures upon request. It's just very difficult to capture them on film.
The Texas cichlid needs a tank at minimum of 75 gallons, I'm not parting with her for conditions less suitable than mine. I know less about Africans, but depending on your set up, would probably need to be 75 gallons or more as well, but I could see it doing okay in a 55 if it wasn't all large, aggressive African cichlids.
