SUMMARY: Drives propane powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as: forklift, clamps, elevating platform, to push, pull, stack, tier, move products, move equipment, or move materials. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Complete understanding of Forklift Operator rules, policies, and procedures. • Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. • Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials. • Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device. • Keeps detailed count of berry trays and finished product. • Weigh’s materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules. • Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device. • Maintains forklift in good running condition. Reports any faulty defects in equipment immediately to supervisor. Fills out daily equipment checklist. • Fills propane tank using proper safety precautions.
