Description
I'm looking for an older drummer for recording and possible gigs.
I have a small, fairly well equipped home studio with an isolation room and drums (Tama Superstar) that are fully miked up and can be set up to your liking. Right now it's a 4 piece but can go up to 7 piece with a double-kick pedal. You would only need to bring cymbals (mine are lo-line cymbals, until I learn to play better) and anything else you would prefer.
I'm recording original music that is a blend of classic rock, pop, alt-country (The Jayhawks, Wilco, Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams...), and other styles. I play all other instruments and will also record music you have or covers you would like to record. I am very flexible and this will be low commitment. I prefer someone who is comfortable playing with a click but am mainly looking for someone who I can work with and have fun recording.
I am very easy going, no alcohol/drug issues, and expect a low stress, high fun experiences.
I am in my 50s and play gigs with several other bands so there may be opportunities for live work.
