Seeking "Ancient" Rock/Punk/Alternative folks to jam or form band

Is there anyone out there in their 40's/50's who remember how fun it was to play in a band in the 90's? There was so much inspiring guitar driven music around us, on the radio and in the local scene. I'm ashamed of what passes for Alternative these days. I'm a Male drummer taking a shot in the dark with the hope of finding some people who still have a spark inside them to rock. I'm not looking to reinvent the wheel, it would just be fun to make some music (original) and play some gigs... and see where it goes. I've always played in female fronted situation, so that's ideal for me, but all responses will be considered.
