This is a long shot but here goes...We are interested in a small dog. Must get along with cats. We lost our German Shepard due to old age. We also lost our pit/rottie mix due to age. We are looking for something small. He/she needs to be housebroken. Papers do not mean a thing to me. Just something we can love with our kitties. It's been a year since our losses. Preferably free or low cost since we will have to take to vet. Thanks
