Putting my borrowed equipment in the trunk of my beat up ‘86 Marquis and I sold my first yard. Now we are a medium size business with a few crews looking to grow our people and our profits in our market. You must three out of four: 2 years experience High school diploma/GED Clean record VALID DRIVERS LICENSE What this job looks like: Pay: $14-$15 starting pay for drivers (can be more based on experience). We reward hard work and work ethic. The more responsibility you can handle the more we can pay. Customer service is #1. We work hard with our drivers to make sure they have everything they need to kick butt in the field. Hours: You will be given (on average) a minimum of 40 hours every week. In the cutting season it may be up to 50 maybe 35 in the winter. Drivers will be in a better position to receive 40 hours in the off season. Drug free workplace: Any use of drugs or alcohol by any team member is instant termination. Drug addiction is terrible for workplace culture. We won't deal with it and you don't have to either. Keepin' it cool: We provide dri-fit shirts, ice, and drinks for our team. IT'S HOT! We will do out best to keep you COOLer then you already are. AFTER you get your stop (group of lawns done) please enjoy a mini break in the a/c on the way to your next yard. Great team: We are all about working hard, efficiently and effectively. Management strives to keep a understanding but accountable management style that works for employees, management, and customers. At the end of the end we try to hold a standard that is just above what our customers expect. Bonuses: We give out bonuses for sales, Christmas and randomly for extra tasks ( photos/ads for Facebook, hard work days, just because and so on..). We have a Christmas party at the end of year, we also like to have regular off site meetings with our team. Food: If your nice may I might even buy you breakfast from time to time. Vacation time: You will have two weeks off every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas. These are not paid so plan accordingly. If you need time off we can give it to you, we just ask you give us as much heads up as possible. Education: A audiobook library will be provided for you with lots of content about leadership, business, marketing, sales, finance and so on. Growing our people is one of our goals as a company. Through our meetings and training we hope you leave better then when you came in our door. Team Leader Job description: Make sure all accounts on your route are up to standards of senior leaders and customers. Watching over 1 team member under you (will have more under you as company grows). Being involved in the growth and profits of your route (management will be closely involved and provide any resources needed to accomplish goals). Communication with management about needs of you/your helper/the rig and route, client requests/complaints, and any damages that need to be addressed. Other duties as assigned.
