MERCH: Visit FORUMCOLUMBUS.COM About Green Velvet: 26-year-old Spencer Brown creates forward-thinking dance music that defies quick-shifting industry trends. His sound ranges from melodic, euphoric house to darker, stripped-back techno, while always encapsulating his progressive flow. After Above & Beyond discovered Spencer through his 2014 debut release “Chalice EP” on Avicii's LE7ELS, Spencer released two full-length iTunes #1 albums, Illusion of Perfection [2018] and Stream of Consciousness [2020], both presented in continuous mixes. Meanwhile, his techno was signed by deadmau5 and received diverse DJ support from Sasha, Calvin Harris, FISHER, and countless other tastemakers. After making his live debut at Avicii’s 2013 Hollywood Bowl show, Spencer was invited to tour across North America on Avicii's True Tour. This extensive touring was done while studying Electrical & Computer Engineering at the prestigious Duke University, where he graduated with distinction in 2016 after publishing a thesis on omnidirectional loudspeakers. Following up his opening for Above & Beyond’s colossal 2018 Common Ground tour, Spencer embarked on multiple mammoth international headline solo tours, showcasing his live brilliance mainly focusing on original productions. Spencer’s relentless work ethic and production prolificacy, crystal clear vision, extensive A-List DJ support, and forward thinking compositions propel his unstoppable rise as he continues to deliver ambitious performances that can stand the test of time.In 2005, Green Velvet released his third album, ‘Walk In Love’, which stayed true to the House sound, with a few pop and punk-oriented tracks for good measure, including ‘Come Back’ and ‘Pin-Up Girl’ both of which featured a live guitarist. The ongoing evolution in the music, career and life of the artist born Curtis Alan Jones in Chicago has been and will continue to be fascinating to watch and experience for his many followers. {TABLE RESERVATIONS/SEATING INFO}-Groups may not exceed 8 people; See map below. -All table sections will be 6' apart. -Dancing is permitted by table section or seat. -Table servers will attend all guest at tables.
