Empowering, uniting, & connecting our communities through all various forms of art mediums and educational workshops. Join us for our 2nd Annual Expression of Hope event! As an extension of the groundwork that was laid last year as allies to the BLM movement and proponents for a healthy community and culture in all facets of life, ISSA has worked to expand the scope of these ideas and magnify many others. Last year we showed an amazing display of unity as our community came together and decided to implement the change we wanted to see in our world through creative expression. This year we are expanding to drive empowering initiatives across all cultures, races, and genders through carefully curated workshops centered around education, social equity, wellness and more. Alongside showcasing local businesses and artists that share similar values and who have suffered losses due to covid. We will have a spectrum of different forms of expression such as live music, poets, singers, dance performances, immersive art gallery, live muralist, and more! It is essential we foster healthy relationships with our communities and stand united coming out of this pandemic, allowing our shared hardships to act as the fuel for positive change, unifying us all to implement action against social and environmental injustices. Admission to workshops and installation art gallery is in the wristband price of $20 this will help support our guest speakers & artist who are just now being able to re-emerge back into the scene after a long hiatus due to Covid.
