Free Self-Defense Seminar for Women! Offering two time slots, 10AM-12PM and 1PM-3PM. Women ages 13+ welcome. No experience necessary. To help expose women to the benefits of learning self-defense, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Canon City is hosting a Free Women Empowered Seminar. The seminar is completely free with no obligations and specifically designed for first-time students with no experience. However, space is limited so please register to save your space! Seminar students will learn six critical techniques to address the following threat scenarios: • How to thwart potential attacks by making yourself a “hard target.” • How to break free from an attacker who grabs you without warning. • How to avoid being taken to the ground by a determined attacker. • How to escape from underneath an attacker who has you pinned to the ground. Again, there is absolutely no experience necessary to participate, and the seminar is open to women ages 13 and up. Please note that anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. In order to accommodate more women, we will be offering the seminar twice on Saturday June 26th. Space is very limited so please save your spot today.
