Come celebrate Juneteenth with us and enjoy a fun evening of art making, food, poetry, and culture. This will be a fun family event. We will begin the party with announcements and meet and greet. We will then have a paint and sip session where we talk about the meaning behind Juneteenth and the celebration of black freedom while we listen to cultural relaxing music and create beautiful Juneteenth themed artwork together , led by community artist and founder of Culturally Creative, Nishay Gordon. There will be urban games hosted by guest artist Marlisa Anderson. We end the evening with an open mike poetry show. There will be free refreshments and additional food items for sale. It's going to be an awesome event you don't want to miss this! All welcome! Young and old!! Ticket prices cover your art supplies. You will bring home a beautiful piece of art work you will be proud of making.
