Join us at Aluma Farm Farmstand as we celebrate Spring and Summer. Enjoy great plant-based food samples from Chef Kev with Urban Oak. Every Thursday you can visit the Aluma Farms Stand near Adair Park on the Beltline for their weekly farmers market. Come and safely socialize with neighbors and enjoy some tasty plant-based food from Chef Kev with the Urban Oak Initiative. Come take a quick walk on the beltline, wave at passers-by and try some tasty plant-based samples for free. (Donations Accepted) The Aluma Farmstand is located adjacent to the Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail near the interstion of Allene Avenue and Catherine Street. WE TRY AND GET A ROUGH COUNT OF HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ATTENDING.:)* The Urban Oak Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that fights obesity, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses through innovative, kid-friendly programs. Atlanta teens are taught the benefits of plant-based nutrition and a healthy, active lifestyle. Their programs. are designed to address many of the issues our communities face today, including food security, nutrition, and socioeconomic opportunity. Their fun, creative outreach efforts target 12- to 18-year-old kids in the Metro Atlanta area. CLICK FOR MORE INFO Aluma Farm is a 3.5 acre diversified vegetable farm rejuvenating a remediated industrial site. Located along the BeltLine in the Southwest Atlanta neighborhood of Adair Park, we grow over 40 varieties of vegetables, fruits, flowers, herbs and microgreens. We sell our produce through an onsite Farmstand and CSA, as well as to restaurants throughout Atlanta.
