Join us for our first in-person Startup Stories event in over a year! Startup Stories is back with the first in-person and hybrid event since March 2020. We’ll join forces with Loloft, a Rogers-based ‘Industrial Coworking’ startup founded by Brendan Howell. After the pandemic forced Loloft to put the brakes on their initial plans for launch and expansion in 2020, the company turned its focus towards helping struggling communities by using its manufacturing space to produce protective masks. Now, the company is ready to disrupt the industrial property market across the US. embark on their journey in an innovative new field. Loloft is a brand-new concept they call ‘Industrial Coworking.’ They provide ultra-modern, high-quality industrial space for lease monthly. Their facilities include everything that coworking offices offer, including meeting rooms, phone booths, and serviced kitchens, plus physical space to pick, pack, ship, or manufacture. As the former Co-Founder, COO, and Executive Director of Miami based DROPIT, he was responsible for managing the operations and IT development team, marketing the benefits of the DROPIT fan engagement platform, and closing commercial deals with major league sporting organizations and sponsors including the Phoenix Suns and Formula 1. Brendan has extensive experience raising capital for startups. He led the team to create a crowdfunding campaign for his first tech enabled startup that raised $711,100 in 30 days. Following on from the initial raise Brendan and his Co-founder raised various rounds up to Series A totaling over $10M. Brendan is also a qualified aeronautical engineer, having served as an aircraft engineer for Air New Zealand. This Startup Stories event will be held IN-PERSON! The event will be held at the Startup Junkie location in Fayetteville, in the Pryor Center Suite 270.
