As the former Co-Founder, COO, and Executive Director of Miami based DROPIT, he was responsible for managing the operations and IT development team, marketing the benefits of the DROPIT fan engagement platform, and closing commercial deals with major league sporting organizations and sponsors including the Phoenix Suns and Formula 1. Brendan has extensive experience raising capital for startups. He led the team to create a crowdfunding campaign for his first tech enabled startup that raised $711,100 in 30 days. Following on from the initial raise Brendan and his Co-founder raised various rounds up to Series A totaling over $10M. Brendan is also a qualified aeronautical engineer, having served as an aircraft engineer for Air New Zealand. This Startup Stories event will be held IN-PERSON! The event will be held at the Startup Junkie location in Fayetteville, in the Pryor Center Suite 270.
