Teen Shot At Pleasure Bay In South Boston

BOSTON — A 19-year-old Boston man was shot Friday night in South Boston, according to police. The shooting happened around 10:40 a.m. on William Day Boulevard. Police said a group of teens were in their cars in the Pleasure Bay parking lot when another group drive in and fired several shots. Police said the shooter struck the man in the lower body area. Emergency officials took him to Boston Medical Center. Police said the injuries were serious, but they don't believe the injuries were life-threatening. Police have not identified any suspects. No further information was available.
