Take a zoo walk with goats Tyson and Chisel and watch the animals react. You will enjoy this encounter of zookeeping stories and excitement! See the Alaska Zoo through the eyes of the animals! Join petting zoo goats Tyson and Chisel on one of their daily walks with zookeepers and enjoy witnessing the reactions of their animal neighbors. We hear female snow leopard Malala is usually pretty interested in saying hi to Tyson! This “wild” walk about the zoo will include time with a zookeeper who will share information about the zoo’s animals and personal animal care stories. Be sure to bring your camera to capture these unique moments! Encounter rates are $285 each plus service fees. Encounters are available Tuesdays through Sundays at 10am through the end of May 2021. Each encounter is one hour and advance registration is required. The encounter rate allows you and three invited guests to participate. Masks are required to be worn at all times by participants. Encounter participants must be age 9 and older.
