SAN FRANCISCO PRECISION INSTRUMENT COMPANY SEEKS OPERATORS AND ASSEMBLERS San Francisco Manufacturer seeks operators and assemblers for building and testing precision instrument parts, assemblies, and products . JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Making small precision components and assemblies (typically 50 mm x 75 mm); 2. Testing these components; 3. Processing specialty small-sized parts and assemblies as well as making components such as tubing, films, membranes, coatings and rods; 4. Use video microscope and precision tools to trim and deburr the work pieces. 5. Measuring the work pieces and performing necessary processes to ensure high quality products 6. Marking and packaging finished products; 7. Work in a high-quality situation keeping the working environment at a high level of cleanliness and tidy; 8. Learn and operate special instruments. REQUIREMENTS 1. Can use PCs running Windows 7 and Window 10; 2. Experienced in using MS Excel; 3. Experienced in using MS Word; 4. Experienced in using e-mail; 5. Good vision (with or without glasses), and skilled hand and eye coordination. 6. Able to work independently as well as having the ability to work with others; 7. Having an interest to learn new skills, and the ability to concentrate, engage in fine, high quality work; 8. High school graduation or equivalent; with intermediate English level; 9. A college degree is preferred but is not required. 10. Have a legal status such being a US citizen or processing a valid green card or work card. COMPENSATION 1. Hourly wages, depending on the work experience and ability. Experienced, qualified candidates start at $20+/hour. 2.. Kaiser medical insurance, employer pays 100% of premium for employees; co-payments are required for coverage of spouses and dependents 3. 401 (k) retirement plan; 4. 2 weeks paid vacation per year 5.
