Press release from the Town of Mount Pleasant: May 21, 2021 The benefits of more trees in our community stretch far beyond the aesthetic. Trees improve air quality, raise property values, help to manage stormwater runoff, cool summer heat and lower utility costs.  The Town will provide trees is in the form of seeds, bare root seedlings, sapling plugs, and one-gallon potted trees to residents to plant on their individual properties while supplies last. Residents can pick up their tree on Tuesdays at the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market starting May 25.
