Position Overview: Our year-round, Environmentally Friendly Landscape maintenance services provide clean, attractive outdoor spaces without pollution from noise and exhaust fumes. As a Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and manicured residential and commercial properties. Our Installation Services bring function and beauty to any property, and you will be assisting with creating these spaces for our clients. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with a variety of equipment such as: string trimmers, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pole chainsaw, push mowers, reel mowers, zero-turn mowers, aerators, stand on aerators, sprayers, spreaders GPS, CRM, cargo trucks/trailers, and more! During our Installation Services, you will learn and implement drainage solutions, turf, trees and shrubs designs, irrigation, retaining walls, interlocking pavers, and other hardscapes. Our team commonly uses equipment such as: compactors/plate tamps, pressure washers, concrete saw, masonry saw, sod cutter, jackhammer, trenchers, mini track loaders, bobcats, and excavators. Qualifications: • Passion for helping others and serving your community. • Excitement to learn and grow your career within GreenWorks Ecoscapes. • Team player that is always problem solving! • Respectful, hardworking, and reliable. • Love of the outdoors. • Availability during Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., some weekends. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Clean driving record and valid Georgia Driver’s License. • May be subject to a criminal background check. • Commit to remaining drug-free and be willing to submit for random testing. • Fluent in English. Specifications: Compensation: This position starts at $12-15 per hour with the opportunity for performance bonuses and incentive-based pay. Our goal is to help you grow YOUR career. • Maintain clean, organized workspaces including job sites, vehicles, and shop. • Perform assigned work safely, quickly, and efficiently. • Be proactive in helping the Team Leader monitor workspaces and immediately correct any hazardous conditions. Additionally, you will help to identify and resolve any customer service issues that arise. • Actively engage in on the job coaching and participate in performance-related conversations. • Identify additional service opportunities on worksites to pass along to Team Leader for evaluation and client follow-up. • Provide assistance to other Team Members, Team Leaders, and managers as needed. • Assist in maintaining quality and productivity performance to complete all assigned tasks. • Be professional and polite when communicating with clients, the public, and company personnel. • Understand we are an outdoor service company and ask that our team always be prepared for adverse weather conditions from extreme heat, cold weather, and rain. We try to schedule around this, but it is not always feasible. There will be opportunities for overtime work on the weekends if you are looking for more income!
