Five Quality Control technicians needed for 30-40 day contracts in southwest Alaska. Looking for fully-vaccinated persons aged 20+. Live aboard salmon tenders that anchor in nearshore waters of the Bering Sea. Employees check out salmon delivered by commercial fishing boats. On-the-job training provided. Physical fitness is important. Depart Seattle between June 15-23. Last day ~July 24, depending on the strength of the salmon run. You will get paid for every day on the job, regardless of whether there is work that day. At season's end you can opt to visit Katmai National Park to observe Alaska brown bears catch leaping salmon at a famous waterfall. Side trips to central and southeast Alaska are also optional at season's end.
