Breakdancing, breaking, b-boying, or b-girling is a mainstream street dance style that originated and developed as an element of hip-hop culture among African Americans and Hispanic youth in the 1970s. Finally, it's warm outside and we invite everyone to meet and dance a little, and maybe even to battle. This is an informal dance competition but we always start the contest with a warm-up. We perform in Boston, Faneuil Hall Marketplace when the weather is nice to earn some extra cash on the side. You should come too! We all meet around 2 p.m.
