This is not a post I ever wanted to have to make but unfortunately I do not have another choice due to my living situation changing. This is Kya. She is a 4 month old German Shepherd/Bernese Mtn Dog mix. She is the sweetest girl ever, she just wants belly pets and to be around you. I rescued her from a cattle farm where the goats and other cattle dogs there kept trying to attack her. When I first got her, she was VERY timid. She would drop to her belly as soon as you walked up to her and she was very nervous around my other dogs. She is still timid, but she’s now comfortable around my dogs. She is very reactive and barks pretty much as soon as she sees another dog when we are on walks. She picked up the habit of nipping at other dogs from the cattle farm and that isn’t something we have been able to break yet. With all that being said, I will not be letting Kya go to just any home. In my opinion, she and her new owner need to spend some time getting help from a professional trainer to help break her of some of those bad habits. There will be a rehoming fee of $500 to ensure she goes to a financially capable home. If you are interested, please email me with the answers to the following questions. 1.
