Description
New to photography or want to learn a bit more about bird/nature photography? Want some helpful tips on what you’ll need, where to start practicing, understanding your camera, and what to do with the shots after you’ve taken them?
We’ll start by meeting on zoom and going over your goals, experience, and equipment to figure out a lesson plan, free of charge. The lessons themselves can be remote or in person (outside, masked for the moment). No stress, no pressure, just better and better photographs.
$50/hr, though I’m willing to work with you if you want to do longer lessons, small groups, or have especially interesting subjects (I'm looking at you, beekeepers, falconers, and owners of horse sized dogs). Will consider donating lessons for wildlife rescues, animal shelters, etc.
Open to nature lovers of all ages, no experience necessary. I’m happy to go over what gear you have and let you know if it makes sense for this kind of photography prior to starting lessons.
Example photos all taken by me during the pandemic.
