Handyman Needed on West Side of Providence

I own and manage 3 buildings (9 apartments) on the west side of Providence, and I am looking for a handyman or handywoman. Ideally I need someone who is a jack of all trades. The work will involve maintaining the properties as well as minor repairs to doors and locks, changing light bulbs and smoke detectors, cleaning halls, weeding, installing blinds, painting, fixing appliances, minor electrical and plumbing issues. Very occasionally there are bigger jobs if you can do them: asphalt, roofing, rebuilding porches. Responding to "emergencies" (like a frozen pipe) is also part of the job. Sometimes you also might show apartments to prospective tenants as well. It is on and off work. I would say it averages 4-6 hours per week, maybe a bit more. Some weeks you wouldn't do much; others weeks, if you take on a bigger project, you might work 20 hours or more. You need to have a car and your own tools. I pay for all expenses. I will count on you as my right hand to make my tenants happy and keep the operation running smoothly. Important criteria for hiring.
