We are looking to hire a part time or full time (full time preferred) service technician to come in and inspect residential appliances in our store as well as do repairs in customers' homes. You will be required to travel to a customer's house for inspection and repair, we do have a company van for travel. Part time would be 24 hours minimum, ideally 3 full days a week, full time candidates preferred.
Job Requirements
-Ability to use and understand test equipment for appliance repair, along with the ability to read, follow, and understand wiring diagrams
-3 years+ experience with appliance repair, installation, and diagnostics.
-Must be familiar with repairing major appliances such as stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, ovens, washers, dryers and refrigeration knowledge is required. Commercial appliance knowledge is useful, but not required.
-Being able to move and handle appliances is helpful, but we have staff on hand if necessary to assist you.
You are not required to look up or order parts, just document the faulty parts as necessary and let us know.
