Landscape Manager Full-Time Year Round Clear Creek Tahoe is currently seeking candidates for the Landscape Manager position.  The Landscape Manager reports to the Director of Greens and Grounds and ensures that all tasks and assignments are conducted and fulfilled in a manner consistent with the goals, objectives, and vision of Clear Creek Tahoe.  A full job description and responsibilities will be disclosed during the interview process. Along with a nationally acclaimed Coore & Crenshaw-designed golf course, Clear Creek Tahoe operates a private club & residential development in the mountains just east of Lake Tahoe with multiple facilities including a new 18,000 square foot Clubhouse with restaurant/kitchen operations, locker/steam rooms, spa/fitness, guest cabins, swim/tennis facilities, and an off-site lake/ski house on the shores of South Lake Tahoe. General Responsibilities Oversees and directs the maintenance of all landscaped areas including the clubhouse, Summit Camp pool and tennis facility, front entrance and sales office, guest cabins, Twin Pines Lake House, hiking trails, and other areas specified by the club. Maintains and repairs all irrigation systems within Twin Pines, Clubhouse, Summit Camp, Front Entrance, Sales, Fairway Cabins and landscaped areas within the Clear Creek Campus.  Services, maintains, and programs a variety of irrigation systems. Makes recommendations concerning renovation and installation of new plantings, hardscapes, and irrigation repairs; assists in planning new improvements for recreation areas or golf course. Performs maintenance such as fertilizing, spraying for weed and pest controls, planting, pruning, removing trees and shrubs, hand-watering, tennis maintenance, and new plant installations. Operates all equipment used on the golf course and landscaped areas; may operate specialized equipment such as dump truck, backhoe, front end loader, snow blower. Assists with snow removal duties and various winter activities. Help to hire, train, on-board, and develop grounds staff. Educational Requirements  Degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant & Soil science, or related field preferred but not required Will consider candidates with multiple years of relevant work experience Experience Requirements 3-5 years of landscape experience with a supervisory role. Able to operate tractors, loaders, and normal landscape maintenance equipment. Physical Requirements   Capable of working extended hours to include weekends and holidays. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours.   Compensation and Benefits   Salary is DOE and competive Clear Creek Tahoe offers competitive wages and benefits to eligible employees.
