Wag More Dogs is seeking hardworking, organized, and self-motivated playroom attendants. You must have a GENUINE love of dogs. Understand that you must accept the responsibility of caring for other people's "children". You should be mature, responsible, and highly reliable. As a Pack Leader will supervise dogs in the play area, keep them engaged with toys and games, and keep them safe and happy. Other responsibilities include cleaning and interacting with clients. You will need to understand or be willing to learn off-leash dog play behavior. This is a job that can be physically demanding but also incredibly rewarding for the right person. This is not a temporary position. Minimum requirements: Willing to work at least 1 weekend day and holidays Available shifts: 6am to 12:30pm AND/OR 2pm to 8pm An innate love of dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments Must be able to lift 50 lbs with no restrictions Able and willing to bathe dogs of any size Supervise group dog play activities Engage dogs with toys and creative interactions of your own Keep play area and kennels clean and sanitized Maneuver 2-3 dogs at a time on leash for outdoor potty breaks Able to remain calm and interrupt aggressive play Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as a team Ability to work standing up for most of your shift Ability work with dogs up to 125 lbs and of varying temperaments. Strong work ethic, reliability, energy, and enthusiasm.
