We are a quality tree service company that has been serving the Oregon Coast since 1997. We are seeking a full-time Arborist to join our team who is self-motivated, hardworking, enjoys customer interaction and is looking for long term employment in the green industry. We are dedicated to the advancement of the profession, use the most current climbing and rigging techniques and offer competitive pay based on experience. Essential Functions: • Perform ground, climbing and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments as directed. • Demonstrate high safety standards, sound tree risk assessment and equipment inspection skills, proper climbing and rigging skills/techniques. • Learn, understand and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies. • Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by management. • Knowledge, per scope of work, to determine the need to prune, inspect or remove trees. • Maintain and operate all tree equipment (chipper, lift, blowers, chainsaws, etc.). • Continue learning new skills for future advancement within the company. • Promote, train and manage our “safety training” through demonstrations and safety meetings - complying with new safety protocols. • Coordinate daily work activities and complete accurate paperwork per job site. • Ability to lead a crew with many different job duties while accomplishing your specific job requirement. • Complete assigned tasks in a safe, efficient and professional manner within the established timeframe. • Clean job site upon completion - quality workmanship. • Willing to work in any weather condition throughout the year. Desired Skills, Experience and Requirements: • Proven leadership experience (ability to lead a crew). • Operate machinery required for duties according to safety standards and guidelines. • Perform all physical aspects of the job (lifting 60 pounds minimal). • Outstanding time management skills. • Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills. • High school diploma or GED. • Valid Driver's License with acceptable and insurable record. • Three years of Arborist experience. • Previous tree service experience. • Must be 18 or older. • CDL or the ability to obtain one. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour
