Explore the natural world with the expertise of Florida Museum staff in this outdoor experience for your family!
Family Discovery Camps are designed for adults and children finishing K -6th grade. Each week’s 2 hour morning will cover a different museum based topic and outdoor exploration of the UF Natural Area Teaching Laboratory.
Each Saturday Family Discovery Camp will include:
• Unique 2 hour sessions filled with science investigations, outdoor explorations and activities led by Florida Museum educators and staff
• Take home activities to continue the fun in your own neighborhood
For this Family Camp, we will be joined by an ornithologists (bird expert) Adam and Gina Kent from the Avian Research and Conservation Institute. Explore how scientists track birds and learn how to find and observe Florida’s fine, feathered friends in the wild.
Ticket prices are per participant.
(Social distancing and masks are recommended.)
